Adrian grew up in Youngstown, the son of a union steelworker father and an immigrant mother from Ukraine. He watched them work their whole lives, and he took their lesson to heart. He started out on construction sites and in pizzerias, earned both a BA and MA, and built a career in international development fighting for economic fairness and equal justice for working people around the world — work that was gutted by Elon Musk, DOGE, and the current administration.
The 6th District understands what it means to work hard to build something, only to be sold out by wealthy executives at the top. Adrian lived that story — and he’s running to change it.
