Alex Rikleen
Alex Rikleen is a dad, a husband, a teacher, a volunteer, and a Massachusetts native. He’s spent nearly his entire life in Massachusetts – learning in its public schools, earning his degree at Boston College, and raising two boys just a few miles from his hometown. He’s studied how democracies fail and sees one unmistakable pattern: opposition parties that are too passive in the face of rising authoritarians. He’s running for U.S. Senate because we need representatives who don’t just say the right things but do them.
We need leaders willing to try even when the odds are stacked against them. He believes in standing up for what’s right, even when it’s hard. Especially when it’s hard. Defending democracy, expanding healthcare, combating climate change, and standing up to bullies isn’t optional – it’s urgent. These aren’t abstract issues – they shape our lives and will shape our children’s futures.
