Andrew Rice

Andrew Rice was born and raised in Connecticut and has been living in Milford since 2010. His father is a second generation Irish American; his mother is a first generation Italian American and he has 3 siblings. Andrew rents a 1,200 sq ft home with a college friend, and is a loyal Pawther to his son Yoshi, a most magnificent mutt.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from UCONN in 2010, and earned his Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of New Haven in 2015. He has dedicated his career to science, inspired by Star Trek, to do his part to continuously push mankind forward.

Andrew is running for Congress to push for Universal Healthcare, refinancing student loan interest to 1%, and fighting for a 21 st Century Economic Bill of Rights. He wants to use the savings from reducing the Imperial War Budget, ending the genocide against Palestine, and closing tax loopholes for the ultra-wealthy to fund programs and projects that will lift working class people up and guarantee a 21 st century minimum standard of living for every American!
