Brit Robinson

Brit Robinson is a Progressive, working-class candidate running for Congress in Florida’s 4th District. Coming from a military family & as a military spouse herself, she has always had a deep respect for service to our country.

She grew up mostly with a single mother and when she was going into high school, her mother got sick. Because this was before the ACA was passed, her mom couldn’t afford health insurance and they had to rely on programs like SNAP & Medicaid. They still lost their home & Brit had to move across the country to live with family & friends to graduate.

Throughout this time though, Brit had access to military healthcare and, through her father’s GI Bill, Brit was able to go to college where she met her husband. Brit has worked a wide range of jobs with the constant moving as a military spouse, along with leading military family support groups. In Nov 2024, she was offered a position as an Interior Designer with Veterans Affairs, but unfortunately the offer was rescinded with Trump’s federal hiring freeze.

Seeing the cruelty & destruction that this administration was responsible for, Brit decided to get involved & run for Congress. Her campaign is based on building a future where we all have the ability to be Safe, Fed, & Housed.
