Erik Terwey
Erik Terwey is a former public school educator from Bartlesville, Oklahoma, running to represent Oklahoma’s 2nd Congressional District. He spent years in Oklahoma classrooms and knows what it means to stretch a dollar, fight for your community, and do more with less, because that’s what Eastern Oklahoma families do every single day.
Erik is running on a platform built around the people Washington has forgotten: working families priced out of healthcare, rural communities watching their hospitals close, and veterans who were promised support and got bureaucracy instead. He supports Medicare for All, fully funded public schools, and expanding Social Security so that seniors can retire with dignity instead of choosing between prescriptions and groceries.
He has fought to hold data center developers accountable when they threaten to spike energy rates for working families, and he believes rural hospitals must be rebuilt and kept open, not shuttered to pad a balance sheet. He believes in diplomacy over forever wars, accountability over empty promises, and a government that actually works for the people paying for it.
Erik Terwey isn’t a politician. He’s someone who got fed up waiting for someone else to step up and decided the 2nd District deserved a voice that actually fights back.
