Joel Lava

Many people know Joel Lava as one of the first activists to protest Elon Musk and DOGE. He is a national spokesman for Tesla Takedown and an organizer of ICE OUT protests and other rallies in the Burbank area, where he has been a resident for 16 years while raising two children.

Lava started in politics 20 years ago, working with California’s Clean Money Campaign on the issue of publicly financed elections.

After the 2022 Uvalde shooting tragedy, he created the anti-gun violence campaign NameThemToShameThem.com. The initiative aims to highlight the responsibilities of gun and ammo manufacturers, the real money behind the NRA.

As a union member in the LA film community, Lava will support all the talented workers in Los Angeles and help steer the film industry through the threats of AI, streaming, and global competition.

Lava is a believer in universal healthcare, and he also promises to pursue fixes that will immediately strengthen Obamacare, saving thousands of lives, NOW!

Lava believes strongly that solutions to most problems already exist. We just need leaders with the courage to make them happen.
