Julie Fortier

Julie Fortier is running for IL-12 US Representative on integrity, accountability, and accessibility. Southern Illinois deserves a candidate who will listen and represent all of its constituents, and someone who will be there to answer the tough questions about how they are being represented. Julie is ready to be that candidate.

Julie is a working parent, a scientist, and a veteran. She served four years in the Air Force on active duty, including being deployed for over four months for Desert Shield. She has a PhD in biomedical science, and bases decisions only on facts.

Julie is tired of the division we now have in Southern Illinois when all of us have the same concerns that affect our lives. She will work for all people of IL District 12, regardless of race, gender, age, or political affiliation.
