Katrina Deville

Katrina deVille is a Transgender Democratic Socialist running for Congress in Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District. Born and raised in Wisconsin, she attended the University of Wisconsin Green Bay before focusing on her career as a bandleader and musician. Also a small business owner, she’s run her own successful custom auto shop for the past 20 years.

After decades of internal struggle, she began transitioning in September 2024. This journey has brought immeasurable happiness, while opening her eyes to the unconscionable degree of hate and bigotry in this country. The past year’s steady erosion of Constitutional rights for the trans community through draconian executive orders and 1,100+ pieces of anti-trans legislation has made her show up to fight for human rights, because others haven’t been and aren’t going to. She soon realized the fight for this country goes far beyond her marginalized community.

Katrina runs for single payer Medicare For All, eliminating insurance companies from our healthcare system, $22 minimum wage, taxing churches to fund Free Childcare For All, affordable housing, ending Citizens United and Super PACs, repairing our failing infrastructure, and holding everyone accountable who’s allowed the dismantling of our democracy, beginning with filing articles of impeachment for Donald Trump on Day 1 of taking office.

Americans’ lives are on the line and people need a fighter who won’t be bought out, intimidated, or back down. Katrina deVille is ready to fight with her life to make this country better for all Americans and all Wisconsinites. She is ready to die on this hill, because that is the energy this moment demands.
