Megan Wingfield is a mechanic, a caregiver, and a fearless advocate for justice—and now, she’s running for Congress to bring working-class leadership to Washington.
Born and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Megan’s story is one shared by thousands of Kentuckians. She graduated from Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) with a degree in Automotive Technology and built her career solving problems with her hands and her heart. As a mechanic, she knows what it means to roll up her sleeves and get to work. As a caregiver and activist, she knows that real leadership starts with showing up for your community.
Megan didn’t come from a political dynasty—she came from the people. Her fight began in the streets, not the statehouse. From local protests to national rallies, Megan has stood shoulder to shoulder with the vulnerable, the working poor, and the unheard. She has never been afraid to speak the truth—even when it’s inconvenient—and she has never stopped pushing for a government that works for all of us, not just the well-connected.
Megan is running for Congress because Kentucky’s 2nd District deserves a representative who understands what it means to struggle—and what it takes to build something better. Her campaign is powered by everyday people and rooted in bold values: economic fairness, healthcare for all, reproductive freedom, and accountability in government.
