Ronnie Murchinson-Rivera
Ronnie Murchinson-Rivera is a husband, a father, and a community advocate running for Congress in Florida’s 6th District because families here deserve honest leadership and a representative who understands real life. Born and raised in New York City, Ronnie moved to Florida in 2017 and has dedicated his life to service, safety, and fighting for people who often feel unheard.
Ronnie spent years in law enforcement, working directly with families, victims, and people in crisis. He protected neighborhoods, responded to emergencies, and stood beside people on their hardest days. That service shaped his belief that leadership is about compassion, fairness, and showing up. It taught him that every policy decision affects real people, real families, and real futures. As a husband and father, those lessons fuel his commitment to building a better, safer, and more stable future for everyone in this district.
Ronnie is running for Congress because this community deserves a representative who works for the people rather than for political insiders. He believes families deserve leaders who show up, listen, and take action. His priorities are clear. Lower the cost of living. Protect Social Security and Medicare. Make health care more affordable. Strengthen education, mental health resources, and support for working parents. Grow opportunities for small businesses. Support law enforcement while holding everyone to the highest standards of accountability. And restore decency, common sense, and stability in Washington.
What makes Ronnie stand out is simple. He is not a career politician. He is a working class husband and father who understands the daily challenges families face because he lives them too. He is committed to bringing people together across party lines and building a government that actually reflects the values of this community. His campaign is powered by everyday Floridians who want a representative who listens, tells the truth, and fights for them every single day.
Ronnie Murchinson-Rivera is running to give Florida’s 6th District a strong and honest voice in Congress and to build a future where every family has a chance to thrive.
