Terri Reese
Terri Reese is a lifelong South Jersey resident, running for Congress in New Jersey’s 2nd District. Raised in a working-class family in Atlantic County, Terri attended Northfield schools, graduated from Mainland Regional High School, and worked multiple jobs while taking out student loans to earn her degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She chose to return home and build her career in the community that shaped her.
For more than 30 years, Terri led teams and operations for companies including Apple, Gap, Talbots, and Victoria’s Secret. Her career required accountability, ethical leadership, and the ability to solve complex problems in fast-paced environments. She expects elected officials to meet the same standards of accountability and integrity that working people do every day.
Terri’s advocacy is rooted in lived experience. As a single mother of two adults, including a daughter with significant mental health challenges, and later as the full-time caregiver for her mother with dementia, she has navigated healthcare and educational systems, coordinated care, and fought through bureaucratic red tape to secure support for her family.
Terri is running as a Courage Candidate because she believes democracy requires action and accountability. She is committed to defending the Constitution, confronting corruption, and ensuring government serves working people instead of political machines, the wealthy, or special interests.
