Tyler Vandenberg

Tyler Vandenberg: public servant, devoted Californian, and strident opponent of the Trump Administration. A seven-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a former Jeopardy! Champion, Tyler is committed to fighting back against the Administration’s corruption with every tool at hand, building a Better Future for All, and making America safe for everyone in our communities. After six months of watching the Administration’s corruption and crimes, Tyler decided to run for Congress himself to do something about it.

Tyler believes that the next Congress will have an enormous task: we will need to both hold Republicans accountable and build a better country at the same time. Having the right Democrats in power who are ready to use the full powers of their office – hearings, subpoenas, and impeachment, for starters – is essential if we are to stop Trump’s authoritarianism in its tracks. That’s why Tyler is proud to stand alongside the full roster of Courage Candidates in committing to that task, and he looks forward to working with his colleagues to win Healthcare for All, a Green Grid, and Homes for Every Generation in the process.

We are winning the fight against Trump and the GOP. Now we must finish the work and build a better America tomorrow.
